Terms & Conditions
By continuing you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these terms.
All dogs sold by Animal Education are subject to approval of the client and facilities, which must include an enclosed yard with a dog-proof fence. The sale of protection dogs is subject to the handler attending training lessons at Animal Education prior to release of the dog.
When deciding to purchase a dog or puppy from us, please consider carefully before placing a deposit. Deposits are non-refundable; however, we are happy to transfer the deposit to the purchase of a different dog if a client’s preferences change. This policy is in place to discourage impulsive purchases. Please take your time — we want all dogs to go to “forever homes.”
Animal Education reserves the right to cancel a sale if a client is deemed unsuitable to own a protection dog. Any costs incurred, including trainer time during the client’s stay, will be deducted from the deposit refund.
Kate considers herself responsible for the wellbeing of all dogs sold by Animal Education. Dogs must be returned to Animal Education if the owner’s circumstances change or the dog becomes unsuitable for their situation.
A pro-rata refund (based on a working age of 2 years) may be provided. Prior training costs, re-training costs to return the dog to standard, vaccinations, and any health or veterinary costs will be deducted.
Dogs must be returned in good health, with vaccinations up to date, and free from fleas and worms.
In some cases, ownership may be transferred to another suitable person (e.g., a relative or close friend known to the dog), provided they meet training requirements and suitability standards. This is subject to approval by Kate.
Dogs must not be resold or rehomed without prior approval from Kate. The priority is ensuring each dog is placed in a safe, stable, and appropriate home.
